We had a wonderful time in the beautiful apartment in Cargèse. The place is very cozy and the beaches are nearby and even often empty in summer. In the morning and evening we were often alone. The apartment is very good and tastefully decorated with a personal touch, so that you immediately feel at ease. Sonia is a very friendly, generous and extremely helpful host. We will gladly come back.

We had a great stay in Cargese and the apartment and Sonia's welcome greatly contributed to our well-being on the island of beauty. Sonia was very welcoming, responsive and available to answer our questions and requests. We highly recommend her apartment which is very comfortable and with a magnificent view of the bay of Cargese. The apartment has all the necessary facilities. We immediately felt at ease there. It is located in the immediate vicinity of all the shops and restaurants and everything is within walking distance. The same goes for the pretty Peru beach which is 5 minutes away via a pretty little path.

Sonia and Mathilde were incredibly kind hosts. I would say that even without the welcome drink and the complimentary cheese. They were very concerned about making our stay as pleasant as possible. Even with not so nice hosts, the apartment would be exceptionally beautiful and still big! The view from the balcony is also fantastic. I will book again immediately.

I highly recommend Sonia and her beautiful character apartment, set in a large townhouse overlooking the picturesque Cargese and the sea beyond. Sonia was the perfect host: friendly, welcoming and generous, with lots of generous items left in the apartment to help us settle in. We loved the large space that we had all to ourselves, the exceptional views from every window, and the great location of the apartment, close to everything we needed. Thank you Sonia!

We had a great time at Sonia's. The apartment is super clean and well located, in the center of the village of Cargèse. 5 minutes from the apartment, there is a Spar supermarket and a public car park to park your car. The nearest beach is a 10-minute walk (difference in altitude).
Sonia welcomed us like kings, with little local treats.
Thanks again to our hostess for the aperitif that we shared together on the terrace at sunset.
An Airbnb like at the very beginning of the concept, with sharing between the host and the travelers!

The house is sublime, clean and carefully arranged. The location is ideal, whether you are going to the beach, exploring the peaks of the Isle of Beauty or simply enjoying village life.

Beautiful old house tastefully decorated.
It was much bigger than I expected. Beautiful view of the bay of Cargese from the terrace in the room where we had breakfast every morning.
Sonia offered us welcome wine and a drink on the last evening of our stay.
The area of Cargese is very pleasant and close to the Calanches di Piana.

The house of Cargese is an immediate step in history. The apartment, in a 250 year old building, has walls as thick as a castle, keeping you cool in the hot Mediterranean summer. It overlooks the bay, the city and the flocks of swallows that soar and dive mesmerisingly. The space for two is more than generous, each room simply and tastefully decorated. The apartment has everything you need and nothing you don't. But beyond the wonderful accommodation are your two hosts. Sonia and Mathilde work very hard to make your stay here one of comfort and relaxation. Their generous hospitality from the moment you cross the threshold, endures throughout the stay, with small gestures of kindness and friendship adding an extra richness to your visit. We had the most fantastic time at Sonia and Mathilde's! We can't fault it at all. We were very warmly welcomed by both of them and they even made sure the kitchen was stocked with Corsican specialties when we arrived. The apartment itself is spacious, clean and has stunning views of the water. Sonia and Mathilde gave us incredible recommendations for sightseeing, activities and restaurants, and were very helpful whenever we had questions. Their hospitality and generosity will not be forgotten and we would love to return one day!

The view from the balcony over the sea is priceless, the old thick walls keep the heat out and one feels a bit like in a small castle. The advice on excursions and restaurants was very good. I had a more than perfect stay in Sonia's apartment in Cargese, a real gem of the island! We even ended up extending our stay. The apartment is huge, it has everything you need and more. There is an incredible terrace overlooking the sea and the small town, a beach within walking distance. Sonia is very kind and can give incredible advice on where to eat the best ice cream, day trips and running :) I hope to come back to this incredible place one day!

This is an apartment/floor of an old Corsican house, retaining both the original architecture (priority to reception areas) and the decoration.
You can enjoy the great sea view from the room and especially from the balcony, especially in the morning for breakfast.
Sonia is an available, welcoming and very friendly person.

My partner and I had a great time in this house. Fresh, without the need for air conditioning, very spacious and lived, with its soul. We immediately became attached to this house. The highlights for us were the room with a magnificent balcony overlooking the bay. The accommodation is equipped with everything. Accessible on foot the central street of the city with restaurants and small shops, as well as the beach and the supermarket. Sonia was really very kind and welcoming. She made us feel at home. When we had a small problem with the drain, she quickly activated to get us back home with the problem already solved. A very nice apartment that I recommend to those who want to relax in the calm of Cargèse and its bay!
