Beaches
Plage du Peru (Cargèse) — Beautiful, large beach overlooked by the village. Within walking distance, only 15 minutes. Or a 5 minute drive. 1 cove on each side of the beautiful crescent of sand. Quiet areas, livelier areas (beach volleyball, canoe rentals etc.) straw hut areas, there really is something for everyone.
Menasina Beach (towards Sagone) — Splendid cove nestled in a fold of the Gulf of Sagone, very gentle slope so as not to lose your footing. Exceptional for snorkeling. A 10 minute drive.
Chiuni Beach (towards Piana) —With its deep waters (on the left), its shallow waters (on the right), its islet (on the right side) around which to observe marine life and on which to scramble, it is the beach most protected from the elements. You can swim there even when it is very windy. Huge parking lot all along and sufficiently set back so that you do not see or hear it, barely a 10 minute drive.
Liamone Beach (after Sagone) — 15 minutes's drive from Cargèse, it is a sublime but deep watered beach. Being a good swimmer is essential, but you can just contemplate. Its immensity allows you to be alone even in high season. In raging seas, its beauty is beyond words.
